WHO ARE WE AND WHAT IS OUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I am Murtaza, owner and lead photographer at MKEshoots, I started this company in 2014 and as a married myself, I understand the importance of capturing your event day perfectly. With more than 8 years of experience in this field, I strive to capture the timeless love story of every couple for years to come (click here to get to know me better). I believe beautiful images are made when they are photographed in untouched and spontaneous moments. I want to record your wedding day about you, your family, your friends, and even little details about you. Certainly, to find the beauty in between them. That’s what I do for you. My years of experience as a professional photographer will ensure the professionalism and quality that your wedding day deserves.

WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK OUR ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

The latest we suggest is at least four weeks prior to the wedding date. Post-production takes about 2 weeks. You also don’t want to schedule an engagement session too close to the wedding, because hey, weddings are stressful! You want to be able to enjoy your engagement session.

DO YOU HAVE SOME PROPS?

Yes. However, if you’d like to bring your own props, it is recommended to bring something personalized and familiar to you both.

IS IT IMPORTANT OR NECESSARY TO HAVE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

For both parties involved (us and the client), it’s a great way to get to know each other before your wedding day. Read our blog on the importance of engagement sessions. Not just for us, engagement sessions help us understand our clients and helps you get used to being in front of the camera. It also can provide some great images for Save the date cards and images to use at your wedding.

WHERE WOULD YOU RECOMMEND HAVING AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?

We have scouted and shot in many unique locations. If you have a location in mind, please bear in mind timing when you choose the location(s). We don’t want you to lose precious shooting time by choosing multiple locations.

CAN YOU HOLD OUR DATE?

Unfortunately, we cannot hold the date without a deposit and a signed contract. We accept bookings on a first-come/first-serve basis.

IF WE CANCEL THE WEDDING, WILL WE RECEIVE OUR DEPOSIT BACK?

The deposit is non-refundable in most cases. The retainer guarantees that we hold the date for you. Hence, we only book one wedding per calendar date.

WILL YOU BE ATTENDING OUR REHEARSAL DINNER?

Rehearsal dinner coverage is available if you’d like to add it to your package, otherwise, we do not attend the rehearsals. We will talk about the timing of your day and the flow of the event, and one of the things is the ceremony. We’d love to hear about the details of the ceremony itself, but rest assured that not attending the rehearsal does not impact our coverage in any way!
